Starling Physicians: Amy Lunding, MD

The new on line entrance form was mostly an easy experience with one question that I had difficulty answering regarding how I Heard about Starling physicians. I could not recall the name of the Dr. Who recommended Dr Amy Lunding with clarity and guessed at his spelling as Dr. DeVille from Hartford Hospital, he was a Dialysis Specialist. He thought Highly of her-- My visit with Dr. Lunding was, as always, very thorough, She conveyed a genuine interest in anything I was concerned about and I felt, for my benifit, ordered an in office blood test that was done within a resonable amount of time and done with comfort. Lana, Dr. Lunding's assistant nurse, had an easy competent manner which I found comforting.

Dr Lunding is awesome. She is caring, very considerate, thorough and takes the time to discuss matters. She makes patients feel at ease. Another special trait is she is not an alarmist. She is the role model for any family physician to aspire too. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Lunding has been my PCP for several years. She listens carefully and has good solutions to all issues. She is thorough and efficient, while conveying a sense of warmth and concern. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her as an excellent physician!

Dr. Lunding is fabulous! She is extremely warm and caring. She takes the time to make sure all of your concerns are addressed no matter how big or small. She never makes you feel rushed or like just another patient. I highly recommend her!

Dr Lunding has been my primary care physician for years now and I really appreciate her bedside manner. She’s always patient and listens to what you have to say. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a pcp.

My mother PC is Dr. Lunding. She is amazing. She is one of the few doctors I have been to who is present during the visit and actually listens to her patients and will trouble shoot outside the norm when necessary. She was phenomenal with my father as well. The support staff has been great as well.

Dr. Lunding is exceptional!!! She is thorough in her examinations and takes time to address questions and concerns. I am so fortunate to have her as my physician and would never leave even if I had to travel a considerable time to get to my appointments with her.

I’ve read all the reviews and am not surprised by the overwhelming and positive comments made by patients of Dr. Lunding. I include myself amongst them! She has been my PCP for at least twelve years and I have never left her office once without feeling very well cared for and heard. It is an ability of hers that not all doctors possess and I consider myself fortunate to be the recipient of her kindness and great doctoring. I’m not going to repeat what I’ve read here, it’s all correct and speaks to her ability as a fine physician. But I am going to address an issue that needs to be added to all others. Many times I’ve seen a doctor who after the visit I never heard from again. And in some cases it was fine and not necessary. In my case it was. I saw Dr. Lunding a few months ago for a problem and didn’t stay in touch as required. Not smart on my part, I got lazy, and it was stupid. I got a follow up call from her inquiring how I was and asking if I needed anything or another visit. Well I said yes I should come in. And glad I did because I needed an adjustment to my medication which was necessary and important. I’m glad I have a doctor who cares! She did what I should have and I’m better because of it! Thank you Dr. Lunding!

Dr. Amy Lunding is such a caring physician.professional in every way. My husband Duane has been a patient for sure 17 yrs now. Always has his best interest and concerns at heart. She is a good doctor that will listen to you and asks questions.So friendly. A true gem if you are lucky enough to get her. Her staff is wonderful too espessially Jennifer always gives you a call back and nice as can be always!.

I absolutely LOVE my PCP here! He's been nothing but kind, understanding, and professional for the year and a half I've been a patient here so far. The staff is wonderful too! Definitely feels like family! 5/5 best care I've gotten in a PCP office in YEARS!!
